David Wilcock's "The Source Field Investigations" Arrived Today
Posted on October 4, 2011
I told a few people I'd give a short update when it arrived to adamjosh.com headquarters. Usually I wouldn't make such a fuss over a book but, come on, this is David Wilcock. Not many people wind up in my songs by name. He is one of a few (he showed up in Awesomum Maximus).
I've been linking to his website Divine Cosmos from my LINKS section here for quite some time now.
If I had to say anything less than positive about David, it would be this; I don't understand how he is so comfortable talking in third person. I'm almost certain that he moderates his own website and comments to himself, uses fake names (he's admitted to this since I originally wrote this brog - click here), and also writes about himself in third person. Personally, I don't even have a proper bio on my website because I haven't asked anyone to write one for me yet. Maybe it's a gift. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way. I may be wrong, but my gut tells me that I've already talked with David under a pseudonym. Go to his website and you'll see what I mean. Look at his personally transcribed copy of the latest Benjamin Fulford interview and notice how he inserts his opinions in between BF's interview every other sentence. Why the need to control, correct and obsess? Also notice he brags about how fast he types, to me showing that he is comfortable with typing his thoughts out very fast, whether they be under his name or someone elses.
Also, I was accused of using his name to promote myself when I originally published this brog, which is funny since one could pretty easily show that David used Edgar Cayce's name to do the same at one point, a book actually came out of that whole thing right? The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce? Obviously David signed off on that, heck he helped write it! But now he plays it down, "Usually I don't mention that." is what he said to the host of Red Ice Radio I believe. Why? Why don't you mention that? Let people think you're nuts, who cares!? If you look like the guy and people think you do and you helped write a book stating the same, what gives? You wanted the attention or you wouldn't have wrote the book. But actually, I am not using DW's name to promote anything other than DW. And as far as promoting goes, we're all on YouTube, a website that is promoting itself off of you, and vice versa. And if you look at my Archive section, I've used many peoples' names over the years, not just David's. Hardly in an attempt to self-promote, although I do recognize my tendency to want others to know what I know, and to think for themselves. What the hell is this whole blogging thing all about anyway if you can't mention other peoples' names?
Of course, he has his business image to consider and the brand of "David Wilcock", so there's a certain way he wants people to perceive him. "My staff", "a staff member" - hey man I run my own website too, I know how it is.
Unfortunate as it may be, for some, this whole enlightenment business is... a business. Oh no! Someone may watch my video for free!
I didn't know his middle name was James, that's my brothers name. Hmmf.
Making copyright claims on your own videos, tsk tsk tsk. Well if he's up late at night Google-ing himself then he's probably seen this blog. Hey David, I love you man, like an older brother, I'm just being honest.
Then there's that whole channeling "Ra" thing. If you haven't seen that, you can YouTube search it, it's ...pretty wild.
And of course if he admittedly was close to 300 pounds back in school and had to deal with all the negativity and insecurity that goes with that, then turning to drugs and admittedly taking copius amounts of LSD - we may have a wee bit of baggage here that may not have actually been left at the terminal, if you know what I mean. Hey, we all wanted to be popular when we were kids right? But David actually IS popular, and good for him, because his message is one of the best I've ever heard.
Anyway, if I had to say anything less than positive about the guy, that'd be it. Other than that, I love his material, whether or not he talks in third person :) I would however suggest that he rolls back his bitterness and sarcasm and tones down the swearing in his future presentations. The mocking humour of your detractors is 1) only doing the same thing you are mad at them for doing to you (we're all skeptics - including yourself - so sarcastically mocking your detractors only makes you look hypocritical) 2) only revealing your true character in that you can't seem to move past the bitterness and sarcasm 3) letting everyone see that you are unable to take the high road and forgive your enemies.
For what it's worth, coming from a continual fan of his work.
I'm a classic Scorpio, with Libra rising, so don't get too miffed at me if I've analyzed this a little too much. It's sort of in my nature. Oh, I'm also an Indigo, which is a whole other bag of worms. Here's the proof, my birth chart. You'll notice all the planets on one side of the chart, and also clustered together in four "houses", which fulfill two of the three main earmarks of an Indigo. The third is that Uranus and Neptune are in the same house, which mine are - down there in the bottom left in Sagitarius:
My regular readers here will know that you have to learn to take the sweet with the sour from me. I second guess even myself, I analyze everything and have made a habit of critiquing those whom I admire, and I'm always searching for truth. It's just my thing.
Sorry if that offends anyone, it's not my intention.
Peace.
Update - 15.12.2011
See, now I feel bad for saying any of the above stuff because he recently completely lost his $h*t on a radio show over getting a death threat that he is taking pretty seriously. Death threats come with the territory and I've had my fair share, but I guess that this is new ground for DW. Let's all do the best we can to ensure his safety. I love his work and meant him no harm by being analytical of his personality. It's just in my nature to critique those whom I admire. Others reading this will know the truth of that.
